Men's Division

Women's Division

Estling finished first during the regular seasonin men's volleyball with an 8-0 mark and followed with a pair of wins in the post-season playoffs to sweep the two titles. Brian Edwards was the dominant spiker while his brother Steven and Dave Young were the primary setters. Other members of the Estling squad included the Edwards' father Alf, Matt DeAngelis, Todd DeLaney, Brett Geissler, Scott Imhoff, Steve Jamison, Rich Price and Dave Robins. Cedar followed Estling in the team standings with a 7-1 mark while Indian was third at 6-2 and White Meadow qualified for the playoffs in fourth place. In the semifinals, Estling ousted White Meadow and Indian eliminated Cedar in a mild upset by similar 3-1 scores. Estling went on to capture the team title with a 3-1 win over an Indian squad that included Matt Fendler, Tom Fischer, Bob Halm, Mark Harrington, Bob Lash, Patrick Leighton, Beau Kennedy, Bob Plucinsky, Paul Rankin and John Stewart. Intervale placed fifth with Rainbow, Rock Ridge, Mountain seventh and Parsippany occupied the cellar.

Indian won a fourth place playoff with Estling by 2-0 and parlayed the victory into the team championship. With a team of Ellen Everson, Tracey Hedden, Tammy Large, Christy Lash, Ro Luzzi, Cheryl McCauley, Nancy McGaven, Eileen Prutting and Dana Rogers, Estling upset top-seeded White Meadow 3-2, rallying from a 13-0 deficit in game 5 to reel off 15 straight points and move into the finals. Rock Ridge fell to the "Cinderella" team that was making its first trip to finals since 1975, as Indian cruised to the team title with a 3-0 shutout. Coed Division Indian successfully defended its title in the one-day coed volleyball tourney, defeating Rainbow 2-1 in the finals. Playing for Indian were Christy Lash, Ro Luzzi and Dana Regan representing the distaff members along with Fendler, Fischer, Harrington, Lash and Rankin. Estling defeated Intervale 1-0 to finish third in the tourney with a team of Steven Edwards, Scott Singerline, Laura Pomeroy, Debbie Titus and Dave Young.
